Quixtar Launches New Cosmetics Brand: NAO (never accept ordinary)

[Quixtar News: July 29, 2005] Quixtar Inc. announces the launch of a new color cosmetics brand, NAO never accept ordinaryTM. This new line of professional, artist-grade cosmetics is tailored to those who prefer to step outside the boundaries of classic beauty to experiment and create their own individual style. NAO cosmetics target a new generation of creative, progressive women, by connecting them to a brand that uncovers and encourages the free expression of their unique beauty.

"In recent years we've seen a change in the demographics of Independent Business Owners (IBOs) powered by Quixtar. New IBOs are trending younger and are more culturally diverse," said Claire Zevalkink, Quixtar Vice President of Marketing. "With this shift, it became clear that we needed a newer, trendier line of cosmetics geared toward the individual who is interested in playing with color, texture, and style to create their own unique look."
 
NAO cosmetics will offer two category lines -- NAO Studio Essentials and NAO Limited Edition.
 
Studio Essentials are daily beauty "must-haves" and are permanent elements of the NAO cosmetics line. Studio Essentials include a highlighter, contour powder, mascara, and brow pencil and highlighter.
 
NAO Limited Edition is a line of color cosmetics that will be updated every six months in order to remain current and reflect seasonal color trends. These color cosmetics will only be available while supplies last. NAO Limited Edition cosmetics include loose mineral pigment, loose body glitter trio, cheek color, eye color singles and duos, glitter eye pencil, lip color and lip gloss.
 
Jeannie Mai, renowned makeup artist, TV personality, and founder of The Doll Service, a Hollywood-based celebrity styling company, serves as the spokesperson for NAO cosmetics. Mai's work has appeared on the pages of top magazines, including Glamour, Maxim, Nylon, and Honey. And she has catered to the urban runways of designers such as Baby Phat and Lady Enyce. She has also appeared on MTV's "TRL" and E!, and is currently the host of "Stir TV."

NAO joins Artistry® skin care and cosmetics in Quixtar's line of exclusive products. "Artistry will continue to be targeted to the modern, yet more classic woman," explains Zevalkink. NAO never accept ordinary will launch August 2005. NAO cosmetics will be available in the United States and Canada exclusively through Independent Business Owners powered by Quixtar.
